Detroit River Walk 10K: June 11th, 2016
Ready to run!
The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy put on this race as a fundraiser. Jess and I were very excited to support this race because we often use the River Walk and also the Dequindre Cut Pathway for running after work. We got to see a newly created section of the Dequindre Cut Pathway. This race fit nicely into my training schedule because it was the weekend before the Mohican 100 mile race and I did not want to do any long distance running. The turnout for the race was very good and we were happy to see that. After the race we met up with a friend at Great Lakes Coffee Shop in midtown for some breakfast and coffee.
